In just one month, SailGP will bring the world's fastest on-water sail racing to the East Coast, introducing New Yorkers and visitors alike to the world of competitive sailing at never-before-seen speeds.

On June 21 and 22, six national teams from the United States, Australia, China, France, Great Britain and Japan will be vying for the top position on the leaderboard and fighting for the right to race in the $1 million winner-takes-all match race later this year.

Following the U.S. debut in San Francisco, New York SailGP will mark the third event of SailGP's inaugural racing calendar. Racing will take place on the Hudson River, just off the Battery and north towards Rockefeller Park.

Fans will be able to get a front-row seat for the action with three ticketed options available for on-water race day experiences, offered in partnership with New York Cruise Lines and Classic Harbor Line.

The New York SailGP Race Village will be the best place for fans to experience the racing excitement onshore. Located on the North Cove Marina at Brookfield Place, this free-to-the-public event will be the hub for all activity over the race period.

Those wishing to watch the action from their own boat can join the complimentary boater registration program to receive important race management information and a commemorative New York SailGP boat flag.
