The first of the 2019 RS Tera North Traveller Series was held together with the North Feva Open at Leigh & Lowton SC. A total of 24 boats took to the water over the weekend in changeable conditions. Great racing from all the sailors and race teams from Leigh & Lowton.

A favourable NW wind enabled four races to be run on the Saturday, with very light wind forecast for Sunday. With racing postponed on the Sunday morning there was on the water fun in the club kayaks and Toppers. The wind finally filled in to allow the final two races to be completed in the afternoon.

Nathaniel Pritchard Jones from Leigh & Lowton SC took first Pro place with Ffion Bailey from Port Dinorwic SC finishing second place only 2 points behind. Third Pro was James Barraclough from Shropshire SC.

The Sport fleet saw Jac Bailey from Port Dinorwic SC finish first place in all six races, fantastic consistency in the changing conditions. It was close for second and third place, John Bridgeman from Leigh & Lowton SC taking second place and Rebecca Green from Derwent Reservoir SC finishing third.
