It was a beautiful, sunny Easter Sunday for the first Scottish Hansa Traveller of 2019. Light winds greeted the six 303-single competitors as they rigged and launched their boats. Three had enjoyed a great day's training with Clydemuirshiel's Neil and Andy on the Saturday and were hoping for great things on their home water.

Race 1 was, perhaps, a disappointment to the home sailors as the three visitors took the honours.

1st Mike Everitt, Frensham Pond
2nd Jessica Campbell, SSS@GAC
3rd Rory McKinna, CCC Dinghy Section
4th Phil Reoch, Clydemuirshiel
5th Craig Holland, Clydemuirshiel
6th Stuart Caldwell, Clydemuirshiel

Race 2 saw a change with Phil Reoch beating Jessica into fourth place and Rory snatching second.

1st Mike Everitt, Frensham Pond
2nd Rory McKinna, CCC Dinghy Section
3rd Phil Reoch, Clydemuirshiel
4th Jessica Campbell, SSS@GAC
5TH Craig Holland, Clydemuirshiel

Race 3 - The wind was growing stronger and more gusty helping the visitors.

1st Mike Everitt, Frensham Pond
2nd Jessica Campbell, SSS@ GAC
3rd Rory McKinna, CCC@Bardowie
4th Craig Holland, Clydemuirshiel
5th Stuart Caldwell, Clydemuirshiel

The wind had become far too strong and for reasons of safety race 4 was not started.
