With the 2019 Bala Cat Open just around the corner, plans are well and truly under way to make this a great event for all competitors, from what we are hearing in the boat park it looks like a bumper turnout for this Catamaran Classic.

Event Sponsors Planas Heaters UK have generously offered to treat us all to a live band on the Sunday evening, so it should be a great social weekend too.

There will be a Curry available to purchase on Saturday night, and for competitors a FREE BBQ on Sunday night followed by a Local Live Band courtesy of the event sponsors, Planar Heaters UK.

A busy racing schedule of 8 Races over the 3 Days should give all Cats a great, competitive and enjoyable weekend of racing across large Windward / Leeward courses on the massive Bala Lake.

Bala Sailing Club now has a commercial cafe running within the club house, making it a great place for the family to spend the day. There is a huge range of hot and cold meals and drinks available, plus some great cakes and even ice cream!

Don't miss out, get yourself to Bala on 4th to 6th May!

The Notice of Race can be found here.
