Fireball World Championships at Victoria, BC - Overall

Erich and Reudi Moser from Switzerland are the new 2006 Fireball World Champions. Two races were held on the final day with light winds.

In race One Penny and Ian Gibbs (GBR) rounded the windard mark first followed by the Mosers. The Mosers then overtook on the run to take first position, with the Gibbs second and Heather McFarlane and Chris Payne from Australia third.

The second race again started with light winds, lead by Penny and Ian Gibbs to the finish with second to fourth places changing continually. Sam Mettam and Keri Harris (GBR) finally took second with Heather McFarlane and Chris Payne third.
