International sailing clothing company Marinepool has joined the exclusive family of Superyacht Cup Palma supporters as the countdown accelerates towards the 23rd edition of Europe's largest festival of superyacht sailing.

The Munich-based specialist tagline Spirit of the Ocean has signed-up as the Cup's official clothing provider.

"We are delighted to welcome Marinepool to the Superyacht Cup Palma family," said Event Director Kate Branagh. "They have a recognised and established link to the maritime world and will be a high-profile and valuable addition to Europe's longest running superyacht event."

Meanwhile, the 2019 regatta has continued to attract an increasing number of confirmed entries, with others making final arrangements.

Among the most recent additions to the entry list is the majestic Spirit of Tradition yawl Bequia. The elegant 30m Stephen Waring creation from the Brooklin Boat Yards will be making her first ever appearance at the Palma regatta.

Another Cup first timer is the 40m ketch Huckleberry (ex-Victoria of Strathearn), whose Langan Design ocean cruising lines will bring classic grace to the event.

Also joining the 2019 roster is the 26m Tulip. Light and fast the Frers designed modern-classic sloop from K&M Yachts has been described as 'an undercover speed machine'. She returns to the Superyacht Cup for the fourth time.

Other confirmed entries Win Win and Nilaya will be flying the flag for Baltic Yachts a Superyacht Cup gold partner. Both will be hoping to emulate the success of Baltic stablemate Hetairos, winner of the recent St Barths Bucket.

Win Win, incidentally, only lost out to Hetairos on countback in St Barths, while 2018 SYC winner Velsheda was also just pipped to a class win in the Caribbean, perhaps giving both added motivation heading to Palma.

The Superyacht Cup Palma runs from 1922 June and the Notice of Race can be downloaded from the website.

It contains all the need to know conditions and details, along with a provisional programme of events afloat and ashore including the welcome party, happy hours, dock party, the Owners' Dinner, and prize-giving.

Owners and skippers are reminded that a limited number of berths are available at the Superyacht Cup village in the heart of Palma and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
