What they said:
Giles Scott, 31, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire (Finn):
"We had some different conditions today - we've been waiting around for typical Palma sea breezes to fill in but today the breeze was up from the start and we had some good racing. I had a tricky day yesterday - I felt I was sailing well but I didn't play the course well enough, and that was frustrating. Today was much better for me - I got the shifts right, got some good results and hopefully that will push me up the leader board."
Sophie Weguelin, 30, Lymington, Hampshire (49er FX):
"We made a few mistakes on the first and second days but since then we've just been ticking over, trying to keep our points as low as possible. We will now aim to be really clear on our plan for the starts and what we're trying to execute on the first upwind leg, and then we will observe from there and try to tick off a few places."
Sophie Ainsworth, 29, Chichester, West Sussex (49er FX):
"The first few days of the event were a bit interesting - big fleets, light winds and lots of points scored by everyone. Today was fruity, choppy, and exciting racing."
