Allspars are delighted to announce that they will be sponsoring the UK 18ft Skiff Grand Prix fleet, for this year's Solent Grand Prix Series.

Building on the success of the Calshot based series format from 2018, the 18ft Skiffs will be at it again, this time with the support of Allspars as new title sponsors.

The series is a mix of windward/leeward racing and round the cans courses sending the skiffs Solent wide!

The first round of the Allspars Solent Grand Prix Series was contested over the weekend where the fleet enjoyed two days of racing in conditions at both ends of the wind range. Saturday was light wind but allowed the fleet to ease in gently and find their way around the boat again. Sunday was certainly windier and reminded the teams what it's like to be triple stringing all the way round the race track. The two days of racing has got the whole fleet pumped for the season ahead in the U.K. and Europe and excited to have Allspars on board. Full report and pictures to be published later this week!

Why not join the fleet, sail the Allspars Solent Grand Prix Series?

The Allspars Solent Grand Prix Series:

  • Round 1 - 30th/31st March
  • Round 2 - 20th/21st April
  • Round 3 - 11th/12th May
  • Round 4 - 3rd/4th August
  • Round 5 and Nationals - 24th to 26th August
  • UK (Calshot) round of the EURO GP Tour - 20th to 22nd September
