Navico recently revealed its plans for high-end electronics, mapping and audio brands Lowrance, Simrad, B&G, C-MAP and JL Audio/Clarion at its annual Australia & New Zealand Dealer Conference held in the Gold Coast, QLD Australia. The yearly conference brings Navico product managers, technical experts, marketing and sales executives from all over the world for 3 days of on-water trials, presentations and training for the dealer channel.

In total, 120 delegates from dealerships, boat builders, tackle and chandlery specialty stores along with technical installers from Australia, New Zealand and the pacific region joined the crew from Navico to hear about the latest and greatest from the world's leading electronics manufacturer. Session workshops were varied and included topics such as product range reviews for all brands; technical training for sonar, radar, vessel integration and JL Audio/Clarion; C-MAP overview; review of 2019 Marketing plan including best practices for social media activation; along with Customer Service and after sales support updates. In addition to the classroom style sessions, 18 vessels ranging from 12ft trailer boats to 33ft game boats were scheduled for on-water demonstrations so delegates could get hands-on with the product installed.

Navico acknowledged those dealers who excelled throughout 2018 and presented various awards at the Gala Dinner. Awards included Australian Boat Builder of the Year, Australian Retail Dealer of the Year, NZ Retail Dealer of the year, and NZ Boat Builder of the Year along with ANZ Retailer of the year and multiple awards for state based achievements.

"The annual Navico dealer conference is a great opportunity for dealers to learn about new products, engage in technical training, improve the customer experience and get hands-on with product on the water in a real environment", said Mathew Hooper, Sales Director for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
