Due to the very strong winds from Storm Gareth we have rescheduled the annual Frensham Frenzy Open to be held on Sunday 31st March 2019.

An ideal season opener, the Frenzy comprises two pursuit races, for monohulls under 16ft hull length and with Portsmouth Numbers between 940 and 1438 (broadly RS400 to Tera Sport) Starts for slowest boats will at 10:30 and 13:30, with a break ashore for lunch. Race duration is based on 75 minutes for an Enterprise (PY 1116).

Courses will use up to 9 of the club's marks, providing a range of beats and downwind angles. Launching is straight-forward: no wet feet required regardless of wind direction. Competition is invariably hot, which combined with Frensham's famously challenging conditions guarantees great racing; it's truly never over until it's over on the Pond.

Entries numbers are limited to 50 - to book you place simply email then complete your entry form on the day.

The formal Notice of Race and SIs can be found on www.sailfrensham.org.uk
