Collaboration on a mutual client, Powerplay Catamarans, and a friendship cultivated over three decades, have developed into a formal partnership between two respected industry entities, Swan Super Lines and Hurricane Boats Australia, shortly to be known as Sanctuary Cove Boat Sales.

Swan Super Lines (SSL) will become an extension arm of Sanctuary Cove Boat Sales (SCBS), Director Ian Swan teaming up with brothers Brett and Grant Flanagan and Paul Atallah, and SSL operations based at their highly-visible, floating office at Sanctuary Cove Marina.

The joint venture will create one of the best resourced and experienced marine teams in Australia.

SSL brings its extensive international network comprising Benetti Yachts, Intrepid boats from the US, Italian marque, Stilecatalini superyacht tenders and exceptional day boats and Lloyd Ships for new builds, commercial and private, complemented by brands such as Horizon, Sunseeker, Princess and custom-builds in Brokerage.

In addition, SSL brings to the alliance all six of its divisions including New boats, Brokerage, Charter, Events, Master Your Boat training, and Yacht Service Directory with the Trust and Respect Membership Alliance.

Brett and Grant Flanagan have decades of experience in boat building and boat sales, having established strong bonds with yards in Asia since 1997 and founding the successful Integrity Motor Yachts brand. Brett has imported in excess of 160 motor yachts and specialises in project management from purchase to full restoration, importation and delivery to owners in Australia, NZ, Thailand and South Africa.

Now, with Brett's son-in-law, Paul, Brett and Grant are Directors of Hurricane Boats Australia the one-stop shop for pontoon and deck boats and they are looking forward to welcoming several new brands including Focus and Powerplay under the umbrella of Sanctuary Cove Boat Sales.

Together, SSL and SCBS have access to a reliable network of professionals, including yacht brokers Colin Cox, Ian Jefferson, Captains, crew and marine service, repair and maintenance experts, graphic designers, marketing, media and online specialists.

"With Sanctuary Cove Boat Sales, we have formed a mega-marine consultancy that caters to all facets of boating," said Ian Swan. "Over the years, we have worked together on many projects, including new boats, brokerage, charter and custom-builds, and this new arrangement cements our alliance."

Brett Flanagan concurs, saying "The synergy between the companies is a fantastic opportunity for clients of both SSL and SCBS".

"Boaties, whether buying or selling, can rely on our expertise to find the right boat at the right price. We attend international yacht shows and have the world's top brands at our fingertips, as well as the expertise and experience to oversee custom builds anywhere in the world."
