The Esse 850 boat Wanna-B comes from Switzerland, but all her five crew are local St. Maarten sailors. For skipper and owner Jan Van den Eynde, sailing in the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is a ritual not to be missed.

In fact, he has sailed in this event for the last 38 years! Jan was Commodore of the St. Maarten Yacht Club and much involved with the relationship with Heineken which the event still enjoys today.
