Anti-twist rope from roostersailing
Have you ever found yourself in a great position at the first mark and turned to go downwind to find that your mainsheet looks like a clump of spaghetti in the ratchet block?
To date dinghy sailors have put up with this problem and tried to find ropes that give them tangle free properties with small success. Steve Cockerill has developed a revolutionary rope called Polilite available in 6, 7 and 9mm diameters. The other interesting quality of Polilite rope is that it takes on far less moisture when wet than other ropes of the same diameter because of its design and manufacture.
If you would like to find out more about out unique anti-twist Polilite rope, as used by Olympic Medalists click here.
Rooster Polilite rope is the recommended mainsheet and jib sheet rope for many different classes such as Lasers, Toppers, Solo's, Streakers, Blazes and RS Classes to name but a few.
Designed by Dinghy Sailors FOR Dinghy Sailors.
Here at Rooster we are always looking for improvements to benefit our sport and have recently begun manufacturing a great deal of other ropes for Dinghy Sailors. Included in these new designs is a 'Polylock' rope 4mm in Blue, Red or Grey. Its a fantastic new control line thats both light yet stiff and moves freely. We also have Rooster Spectwelve ropes in 3mm or 4mm and Rooster Vetlock 50/50 which is ideal for travellers or strops on all dinghies.
