Hurricane Boats Australia are poised to become Australia's "one stop shop" for both pontoon and deck boats with the introduction of the Sweetwater, Sanpan and Aqua Patio range.

The experts at Hurricane can now offer over 165 models and hundreds of layouts ensuring there's a boat to suit everybody and every boating lifestyle, from back river cruising to offshore fishing.

Australia's unrivalled deck boat specialist, Hurricane Boats Australia has taken on distribution of the full complement of quality models from the US-manufacturer of Hurricane boats, offering Aussies the most extensive range of these versatile craft across the spectrum of features, uses and pricing.

"Deck boats have really struck a chord with boaties," explains Paul Atallah, co-director at Hurricane Boats Australia. "Particularly those looking for easy, hassle-free and low-maintenance way to get out on the water."

Joining the sensational line-up of Hurricane FunDeck and Sundeck models are the equally brilliant, yet entirely unique Aqua Patio, Sanpan and Sweetwater pontoon boats.

"They are incredible," says Grant Flanagan, co-director. "The manufacturer, Godfrey Marine in Indiana, USA, is a specialist pontoon boat builder the pioneer of the deck boat since 1974.

"They produce 22,000 units a year of the Hurricane brand, the world's number one selling deck boat, and many thousands more of Sweetwater, Aqua Patio and Sanpan models from entry level to ultra-premium with all the bells and whistles. Their four factories have exceptional quality control and offer nearly unlimited options for customisation."

The Sweetwater Sunrise line is an entry level pontoon boat, with a mid-level range called Sweetwater and the top of the line Sweetwater Premium.

Aqua Patio is the sensational sporty and fun line of pontoon boats, including the special wakeboard edition called the 'XP', with a wake tower, top quality upholstery, upgraded speakers and more. Then there's the Aqua Patio SDP which comes with a hard top and a slide for hours of family fun!

The Sanpan line is considered a supremely elegant pontoon boat, with luxurious finishes throughout, fridges and bars, reclining lounges and various options. Sanpan has just released the new 28-foot pontoon boat with twin optional 350hp engines the pinnacle of quality, style and performance.

"Among all these brands there are more than 150 different sizes, styles, layouts and optional extras," says Paul. "There's something to suit every kind of boating interest and activity."

Already generating massive interest from their home-base of Sanctuary Cove, Hurricane deck boats are destined to become the number one brand in Australia for their stability, performance, array of features and versatility.

The next delivery to our shores in late summer will feature two new Hurricane models and already the anticipation is building.

"This is our third shipment in six months," says Paul. "We have had a great response so far from the sea trials we've hosted since June. With planning under way for the 2019 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May, we are bracing ourselves for a barrage of interest."

From feedback so far, boaties have been impressed with Hurricane's superior quality and capacity, sports boat performance and handling, with enough grunt to tow skiers, wakeboarders and tubes.

Safe, stable and with a shallow draft, Hurricane deck boats are ideal for multi-generational families and groups of friends looking for a fantastic, flexible watersports platform.

Joining the Hurricane line-up this summer is the FunDeck 236 WB, which boasts all the attributes of a sportsboat with the capacity of a pontoon.

At 7.07m, this highly adaptable dayboat will appeal to boaties looking for the ultimate party platform, which is just as well-appointed for fishing, skiing, towing or sunset drinks with friends and family.

The massive range of features of the FunDeck 236 WB includes a generous Wet Bar for which this model is named, with table, handy drink holders, sink, tap, and plenty of space for ice, refreshments and food in the insulated seating.

There are two large swivel helm chairs, double bimini, comfy seating for up to 12 people, freshwater washdown at the stern, pop up changeroom, snap in carpet, quick release fenders, LED lighting and Audio Marine stereo system. For the anglers, there's the latest Lowrance Fishfinder.

Powered by the acclaimed Yamaha 200hp engine, the FunDeck 236 WB will deliver a top speed of 37 knots (70kmh), and thanks to the legendary Hurricane fibreglass "cathedral hull" handles like a bowrider and requires a lot less maintenance than aluminium craft. A custom-made boat cover ensures your pride and joy is protected with it's not in use.

With a draft of just 33cm, the FunDeck can access shallow reaches and pull up on the beach, which is ideal for the safety and comfort of the whole family.

The Hurricane self-bailing system keeps the cockpit and everything in it dry and comfortable. The wide beam and spacious floor plans create the ultimate comfort zone for any activity.

Also due for arrival in the New Year is the sensational, top-of-the-line Hurricane SunDeck 2400, a bowrider-style deck boat with a deep-V hull to ensure stability and a smooth, dry ride.

At 7.3m, with room for up to 12 people and a large bimini for protection, this premium model is fully-optioned with the fishing package comprising removable fishing seat at the bow with rod storage clips, Simrad touchscreen Fishfinder and chartplotter and LED-lit Audio Marine system.

The SunDeck 2400 also boasts snap in carpet throughout and onto the swim platform, quick release fenders, freshwater washdown at the stern and a step-down, enclosed electric WC. Powered by a 250hp Yamaha engine, the SunDeck 2400 has performance to match its profile, delivering up to 42 knots (78kmh).

"We can't wait to share these category-busting models," says Paul. "We're sure families and boaties will be as impressed as we are with the diversity and personalisation available from these top-quality all-American brands.

"You won't have to go any further to start your deck boat lifestyle we have the biggest and best value selection of any dealer in the country."
