The 2019 Supernova Traveller Series has been announced and it is looking to be a fantastic year for the series. We have an excellent line up this year with 15 events as well as 2 class coaching days before Open events at Bowmoor and Hunts.

The series will kick off at Cotswold Sailing Club on the 23rd March followed by our first double header of the season on the 6th and 7th April at Bough Beech Sailing Club and Bartley Sailing Club. The series will be in full swing before we reach our Nationals Championships in June giving everyone the chance to see how they are doing against the fleet after their winter training. The series will the conclude in October at Haversham after 15 events. With a range of venues spread across the country there is something for everyone!

Once again we have some great venues and we hope for a great turn out as in 2018 so we look forward to seeing as many Supernova's on the water this season as possible!

Pea-souper fog lifts in time for some afternoon racing Sunday dawned with a pea-souper fog and light winds dimming down the initial enthusiasm for going racing. The local weather expert (I looked up XCWeather) predicted it would lift by 1pm which thankfully it did. Posted on 22 Jul
Supernova Nationals 2025 at the WPNSA overall
An impressive 88 despite a change of venue It wasn't that long ago that the Supernova fleet were excited for their upcoming visit to Plymouth for the 2025 national championships. Sadly things weren't to be with some overrunning building work unfortunately leaving us without a venue. Posted on 5 Jul
Supernova Nationals 2025 at the WPNSA Day 2
Have you ever put a blindfold on and run as fast as you can? Have you ever put a blindfold on and run as fast as you can? No? Neither have I, but I imagine it was a bit like sailing at Weymouth today. We had 3 great races in Portland harbour in what can only be described as a spooky mist. Posted on 28 Jun
Supernova Nationals 2025 at the WPNSA Day 1
Strong wind opening day for the nearly 90-strong fleet It has been a long time since the Supernova fleet visited Weymouth, last time we were here I don't think the impressive WPNSA was even built. We were excited to be back and join the 505s for a few days on the water. Posted on 27 Jun

Craftinsure Supernova Northern Travellers at Filey
Most boats launched but a fair few returned once they saw the real conditions Friday 16th May saw the first boats arriving to be set up on the beach for the annual Filey Regatta. The forecast was for some daily strong winds. Filey Brigg would offer some shelter for launching but there was bound to be a swell past the Brigg. Posted on 21 May
