Competitors from this year's Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race, were recently treated to a fabulous Black Tie presentation dinner at the Celtic Hotel in Caernarfon. This prestigious multi-challenge event, which awards over 30 trophies for the sailing, mountain running and overall prizes, was supported by Exposure Lights who also provided the main prizes alongside the trophies.

The lucky winners were treated to sets of Exposure OLAS tags, the ground breaking safety system that creates a virtual tether with your crew and a mobile device on board your boat. Should a crew member go overboard, the OLAS APP sounds an immediate piercing alarm to alert the crew. It then directs the crew back to where the incident occurred, saving valuable seconds whilst you stop the boat, and provides clear instructions with all the positioning and safety information you need in an MOB situation.

Now in its 41st year, The Three Peaks Yacht Race is true challenge of endeavour and personal stamina, appealing to competitors across all sporting backgrounds, mixing experienced sailors with non-sailing athletes. Competitors sail 390 miles from Barmouth to Fort William, stopping for their runners to scale 72 miles up Snowdon, Scarfell Pike and Ben Nevis, as well as cycle 26 miles of steep Lake District terrain.

Tom Harrop, Brand Manager at Exposure Lights comments, "We are delighted to support this prestigious event. It's tough and relentless for the teams, sailing, running, cycling and rowing all day and night. It's a perfect fit for Exposure Lights, as our innovative, ultra-lightweight, high powered LED lights are designed exactly for the rigours of offshore sailors, runners and cyclists."
