The team at Quality Marine Clothing (QMC) have expanded again, recently acquiring the online retail store Ross & Whitcroft.

Ross & Whitcroft began life on the Gold Coast back in 2014 as an avenue to offer Marinepool the marine clothing brand from Germany, and provide access to a range of quality gear for boating and marine life. Stocking various brands and related products, R&W established itself as a major online force, attracting many thousands of consumers from the marine industry.

With QMC more focussed as a uniform provider, the Sales and Marketing Director, Duncan Curnow advised 'With the increase in enquires on the QMC front, we had many that were wanting 1 unit of this or 2 units of that, which was not our business model but of course we wanted to retain these clients. The purchase of R&W was a good fit as we continue to be able to service these clients, have pricing to enable direct purchasing of much of the same products we offer on a multi-unit uniform front.

The site stocks all the main brands from Musto, Helly Hansen, Gill, Henri Lloyd to Ronstan, Harken and Kroten shoes. There is literally thousands of products something for every marine enthusiast.

Curnow is supported by long term business partner and colleague Tony Liddy, who also comes from a marine and apparel background, making for a strong and knowledgeable team.

Curnow and Liddy are also the exclusive importers for the marine brands Sail Racing from Sweden (official clothing partner to Emirates Team New Zealand) as well as SLAM from Italy. R&W now stocking these exclusive products for sale as individual units too.

QMC have also tapped in to some unique products that are needed in the marine sector, including epaulettes and captains' shirts!

The R&W website has been completely re-vamped since QMC's take over in mid-September, the two amalgamating to now becoming a very strong apparel and accessories based business, with all the key marine clothing brands now available.
