2018 has been a superb year for the RS600s with a fantastic series of events (including almost 30 boats at the Nationals at WPNSA in August), some superb media coverage telling the world all about our development and activities through the season, all topped off with an incredible enthusiasm amongst the sailors of these amazing boats.
This weekend sees the final event of the 2018 RS600 Grand Prix year when we join the other RS classes for the 'RS End of Season Champs' at Rutland. With a forecast for a mixture of conditions it looks set to be a spectacular couple of days for the helms and sure to show the 600 at its absolute finest.
With one single, all-classes pursuit race on Saturday followed by three fleet races on Sunday, the weekend will surely test the sailors and provide a worthy winner. Most of all, it will be a lot of fun both on and off the water.
Despite marking the end of the official season, we haven't been standing still. The 2019 calendar has already been announced, with many of us arranging to take part in the Selden SailJuice Winter Series, so plenty of activity through the next few months.
In addition, a brand-new boat is currently undergoing final testing, with a view to see an updated RS600 going into production. The 600 is already a fantastic boat, but with new construction techniques and some small tweaks to the design, we're sure to see the boat stay at the cutting edge of performance sailing in 2019 and beyond!

Even if you're not planning on sailing, you're more than welcome to come down and take a look at the boats, meet the people that sail them and see if RS600 sailing could be for you.
