Numarine announces three new sales in its 26m pocket explorer series

Numarine, the European high performance motoryacht shipyard headquartered in Istanbul, is delighted to announce the sale of three more units in its 26XP series of compact composite explorers to clients from Russia, Turkey and the Middle East. The news comes after both the 26XP and the 32XP made their European debuts at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival in September to wide acclaim.

"Cannes was a hugely successful show for Numarine and the enquiries from potential clients are ongoing," says Omer Malaz, Founder and Chairman of Numarine. "Following on from the two 26XPs already delivered, the third, fourth and fifth units are now in build and we fully expect to announce a sixth in the near future."

4- or 5-Cabin Layout

All three new contracts are for the displacement version of the 26XP (a semi-planing option is available for future clients) with naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini and exterior/interior design by Can Yalman, both long-term partners of Numarine. The general arrangement of hulls #03 and #04 remains the same as the first two deliveries with four large guest cabins below deck and a full-beam master suite amidships. Hull #05 has a special 5-cabin layout (with the extra cabin on the forward main deck) and a Jacuzzi on the flybridge. All have extensive social spaces, a flybridge of nearly 100 sq/m and a generous beach platform.

More Power

The unit #03 is fitted with twin MAN 560-hp main engines like the second unit already delivered. The units #04 and #05 have more powerful MAN 800-hp enginesthat is accepted to providea modest increase in performance (max speed 16 knots and cruising speed 12.5 knots), but also better fuel economy and more power in rough seas as the XP series designed for ocean cruising.

Numarine routinely starts building its hulls in advance to reduce delivery times by up to four months. In addition to the flexibility of choosing between a displacement or semi-planing hull form, Omer Malaz credits this as one reason why the three new 26XP units were sold in rapid succession.

Other unique selling points include Numarine's dedication to efficient production, innovative design and technical excellence, including remarkably low noise and vibration levels, which have quickly established the premier yacht brand on the international yacht market.

Silence is Everything

The comfort on board is the most important factor, so Numarine took great care in eliminating or reducing all sources of noise and vibration. The on-board systems of the 26XP that resolve these issues are from the shipyard's longstanding partner Silent Line, noise and vibration experts for luxury yachts, commercial vessels, and industrial and architectural projects. Usually, this advanced technology is applied on much bigger megayachts over 80m in length.

At FLIBS 2018

Numarine has the new 26XP and 32XP on display (Location: Green Zone HOF 41 and 42). Both superyachts are the 2ndunits in their respective lines, delivered in summer 2018.
