With summer coming to a close and a sparkling National Championships at Brixham fresh in the fleet's memory thoughts are turning to the final autumn events of the North Sails OK Super Series.

With the rescheduling of the frozen off Sprint Championship from March to October there now remain three events for sailors looking to qualify for the series and the chance to be included in the draw to win a 50% voucher for a new sail from North Sails.

The remaining events are a visit to the traditional OK East Coast stomping ground of Brightlingsea on 15th/16th September, the fast and furious short course racing of the Sprint Championship at Burghfield on the 20th Oct, and culminating at the class favourite of the End of Season Championship at Northampton SC on the 3rd/4th Nov, where the prizes will be awarded and the draw made for the North Sails voucher.

With increased interest around the world in the OK in recent years, the UK class would like to remind sailors who are interested in the OK that the Association has a demo boat which is available to try both at events and at other times as well.

Currently the boat is booked for the End of Season Championships but it is available for the other autumn events. If you are interested in getting up close and personal with the modern OK and trying the demo boat please contact to ask about its availability. We're sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.
