Day one of the RS500 World Championship at the RS Games, saw the fleet enjoy two races out in Weymouth Bay.

In a hugely competitive fleet, Tim and Heather Wilkins, (GBR) top the leader board at the end of day one on 4 points, with a third in race one, followed by a bullet. On equal points in second are Pim and Lisa van Vught (NED).

Also in the top five are Steve and Sarah Cockerill (GBR), Martin and Axel Johansson (SWE) and Michele Oppizzi and Pietro Frazzica (ITA).

With up to four races scheduled for day two, it will be interesting to see which teams and nations win through.
