Tom Picot, Yann Rigal, Tugdual Piriou and Cyril Fortin easily won their quarter-finals by winning their respective opponents 2 matches to zero.

A Caledonian semi-final!

The semi-finals and final will be dynamic. The 4 crews know the boats, the race course and the opponents perfectly and none of them wants to give up their place!

Tom Picot having arrived at the head of the Round Robin will have the advantage tomorrow morning to choose his opponent among Cyril Fortin, Yann Rigal or Tugdual Piriou. The winner of his semi-final will have to win 3 matches to reach the final... the day will be long and intense for our sailors.

The place 5 to 8 were an international Round Robin

Jordan Stevenson (RNZYS), Celia Willison (RNZYS), Clare Costanzon (RPAYC) and Emilie Bouchet (CNCYC) took part of this Round Robin. At the end, Jordan Stevenson had 3 wins so he keep in 5th place easily.

But all the 3 women skippers won each 1 match. So finally the ranking stay like the Round Robin, but good matches on a light air today.

Program for tomorrow:

If the weather conditions are good, the first semi-finals start at 10am and the finals should take place in the early afternoon.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Cercle Nautique Calédonien nautical base located at the end of Brunelet Point, around 5pm.

Celia Willison vs Emilie Bouchet finish line
