J/112s finish 1st and 2nd in IRC4 at Lendy Cowes Week

Stormy conditions on day seven meant racing was abandoned for IRC4, resulting in podium finishes for Leon and Davanti Tyres.

Newcomer Leon recorded an impressive scoreline during the week, with four bullets and two second places. Paul Heys, racing on previous class winner Davanti Tyres, commented "Leon have a talented squad and have sailed really well. At least we've been beaten by another 112!"

David Franks only took delivery of Leon this summer. The boat's incredible results also make them champion of Black Group overall.
