On day two of the RS Tera Worlds, sailors were greeted by plenty of sun, but not much wind. Postponed ashore for half an hour, it wasn't long before the wind had filled in to between 6 and 9 and knots, sailors launched at 10:45. With the Sport fleet re-flighted, they were ready to begin their final day of the qualifying series before being split in to Gold and Silver fleet.

In the first race of the Pro fleet, Tuttle added another bullet to his already impressive score line, with Imogen Wade of Northampton SC second. In the yellow flight of the Sport fleet Torbay's William James took the win. Thomas Bates, apprehensive going in to his first major regatta away from Ripon certainly has nothing to worry about, placing second. Alice Davis finished first in the blue flight, adding to her tally of firsts, with Olly Peters second.

With the Pros starting first on the outer loop the wind held stable for the majority of their race at a bearing of around 250 degrees, allowing Miller to steal the win, Tuttle second this time. As the sports fought on however, the wind veered to between 290 and 300 degrees as the gradient built to around 15 knots which only left one option- abandonment. After completely relaying the course Max Sydenham took the win with Max Steele second in the yellow flight. In the blue flight, William Bailey took line honours, Olly Peters second.

The final race of the day got away for the pros while the sports were still completing their second race, following a bit of a wait for both sport flights. This time Yorkshire Dales SC sailor Oliver Rayner took the win, with Tuttle second. The yellow flight got away and a third way up the beat before having to be abandoned and recalled. A dark low pressure system brought a chill and a dash of rain, as well as a 30 degree shift to the left. When the Sport fleet were eventually able to get away at 16:40 and 16:45 for the yellow and blue flights. Teddy Dunn of the Isle of Man won the yellow flights final race, followed by Max Sydenham. In the blue flight, William Bailey claimed another win, with Toby Hatsell of Middle Nene SC second.

Overall, day two proved to be a tough day for the kids, coaches and race management, with over 6 hours on the water and 100 degrees in wind variation it certainly was not plain sailing. Heading in to day three, Ben Tuttle leads the pros with a gaping 26 point gap ahead of Beth Lewis of New Zealand in second. In the Sports, Alice Davis leads on count back ahead of William Bailey, a dark horse so far in this regatta, scoring 3, 1, 1 on day two.
