Australia's Sirocco Marine, for the fifth year running, has scooped the BRIG International Dealer of the Year Award, recently conferred upon Neil Webster and his team at the BRIG headquarters and factory in the Ukraine.

The Award is Sirocco Marine's fifth, beating more than 60 dealerships around the world. Celebrated with a "BRIG Night Live" themed party, more like a rock concert than a corporate soiree, the event was a chance for founder and CEO, Slava Rodionov to meet and mingle with his brand's international distributors and sales teams.

Adding to the win, Neil's US BRIG dealership took second place. After just three years in operation, the BRIG US dealership in the boating epicentre of Fort Lauderdale is already generating incredible interest from around America.

At 7,350 square metres, it would be among the largest boating-marine showrooms in the world, and is certainly the largest RIB dealership anywhere, presenting the entire BRIG range in all colours and configurations.

"We are very pleased with the recognition," said Neil, adding that the Awards are based on sales, service, market penetration and customer feedback.

"In Australia, we are the largest RIB distributor with a national network of dealers and a full range of boats on display at their showrooms in WA, Qld, NSW and Vic. Our showrooms are full of boats on display, in stock and ready for you to get on-water.

"Our customers in the US and Australia tell us the product is superb quality, a great price, great performance – BRIG ticks all the boxes."

The BRIG range of "Rigid Intelligent Boats" are entirely designed and built in Europe by an expert team of designers and engineers (including ex-military aeronautical engineers) for close to 30 years. BRIG uses top quality materials including superior ORCA Hypalon from France (not PVC), Italian steering wheels, fiberglass hulls and Silvertex UV and water-resistant upholstery fabrics from the UK.

With 26 models in the range, BRIG has a RIB for every on-water application, from weekenders and day boats to practical yacht tenders and support vessels.

BRIG is the highest selling RIB brand across Europe, and the number one brand in Australia, Sweden, Holland, Finland and the UK.

"The US operation is still in its infancy," continues Neil. "We have started from a low base, but after three years we are the second largest distributor by volume in the world and that can only grow in the coming years with the pleasing acceptance by the US boating public. BRIG USA is on track to outpace them all and take number one position in 2019."

BRIG continually invests in R&D and is renowned for its cutting-edge techniques and fabrication by hand to ensure the stability, performance, durability and longevity of every boat.

In 2018/19, BRIG plans to launch a handful of new models, including the most exciting, the brilliant luxury RIB dayboat and cruiser, the Eagle 8 scheduled for October arrival.

At the 2018 Sydney International Boat Show, 2 to 6 August, Sirocco Marine will have the entire BRIG RIB range on show – 26 models in total – the making Sirocco Marine one of the largest exhibitors at this year's show and certainly the largest selection of RIBS. They will also have a selection of Williams Jet Tenders including the new 280 Williams Mini Jet and Sirocco models on show.

Stand 300, Lower Level, International Convention Centre Sydney.
