Flying Dutchman World Championship at Royal Yacht Club Hollandia - Day 1

by Casper Schaaf 24 Jul 2018 10:07 BST 20-28 July 2018

Despite light and unstable wind predictions the race committee was able to successfully complete two races today. After one false start the first race was sailed in a stable F2.

At the start of the second race the wind picked up a bit but in the last part of the race the wind started to diminish. Well done to the race committee for a great start of this event.

The top three after two races are: first DEN 21 Jörgen and Jacob Bojsen-Moller / second HUN 70 Szabolcs Majthény and Andras Domokos / third ITA 4 Nicola and Francesco Vespasiani.

Congratulations on a very strong first day to the Danes!
