No clear outright winner in either rig and Bob's bobble revealed!!!

A steady 8mph wind and glorious sunshine greeted the Trio fleet on day 2. Race 1 eventually got underway after the third attempt (and once the black flag came out).

Andrew/Caroline led from start to finish, Rex/Sue had their best result so far and came in second and Ade/Tracie third. Bob/Collette were looking to secure fourth until a tactical decision to gybe late around the final mark didn't go to plan and this allowed for Steve/Martin and Guy/Graham to slip by.

In the classic rig, a real battle between Richard/Carole, Simon/Veronique and David/Charlie took place with them finishing in this order.

Race 2, Bob/Collette lead from start to finish. Further down the fleet there was lots of place changes.

Symon/Ed lived up to their boat name in white lighting as they charged through the fleet to take fourth place.

Race 3, Darren/Callum lead to the first mark and eventually finished third. With Ade/Tracie winning this race and Andrew/Caroline having a good result in race 2, this has kept the pressure on Bob/Collette into the final day.

Classic rig is equally as tight at the top with three potential winners coming into the last day.

A brilliant evening was had by all at the evening dinner.

Event sponsored by Noble Marine.
