44th Hamble Warming Pan Preview

The 44th Hamble Warming Pan, takes place this weekend, 11/12 March 2006. Two classic designs, the Merlin Rockets and Fireflys, as well as the local one design Foxer dinghy and the Mirror fleet are this years invited classes.

The Warming Pan is a classic early season Dinghy event run by members of Hamble River Sailing Club. Over 50 dinghies are expected to take to the water of the River Hamble near Southampton over the weekend.

The first race starts at 11am Saturday with all starts and finishes taking place from the HRSC club line adjacent to the launch area. Subject to weather conditions the club plan to run courses in the river and also using marks out in Southampton Water.
