The Hornet Class is pleased to be returning to Thorpe Bay Yacht Club for their European Championship from 11 to 14 August. The Class last held a championship at this venue in 2001 when a fleet of fifty boats competed. The karaoke evening is still talked about today.

Early entries will be eligible for the raffle to win a Hornet genoa kindly donated by Exe Sails and Covers. The deadline is 31 May so download the entry form now from the Class website and buzz it over to TBYC. Junior members and entries from abroad are entitled to substantial discounts. Further details including the Notice of Race and contacts can be found on the website.

Local Horneteer Mark Dell is putting together the program and no doubt all sailors are required to bring their entertainment talents. Free parking and camping is available next to the club. See you all there!
