A brilliant, sunny, breezy day welcomed all competitors and supporters to the first Scottish Hansa Traveller of 2018. With eight boats competing, six 303 one person, one 303 two person and one 2.3, it was decided that all 3 classes would start together.

We welcomed our first English sailor Matthew Daly, who sailed in the 303 one person Class.

Jessica Campbell, 303 two person, was racing after competing at Whitefriars the previous day, continuing her target of competing in every Hansa Traveller in the U.K. this year.

The day's racing was both enjoyable and eventful. Lexie Piper aged 6 sailing with Jessica Campbell, after sailing the first 2 races had a start line incident and needed to miss the remaining races. It has not put Lexie off though and she is looking forward to the next Hansa Scottish TT at the Galloway Activity Centre on Sunday 27th May.
