Get out and sail: Your weekly crewing update from MySail

CYCA Winter Series Race 3 © Ben Williams, Spot-a-Yacht

A few days ago, for the first time this year, I had to turn on the fireplace and dig out my winter wardrobe.

It seems like the unseasonably warm autumn weather has come to an end (at least for those on the south-east coast).

Sydney harbour delivered some exciting sailing on Sunday, with reported gusts up to 45 knots as the CYCA Winter Series fleet battered their way around the course. Thanks to the team at Spot-a-Yacht who braved the conditions to get the fantastic shot featured above.

If you're feeling brave enough to take on some winter sailing conditions, check out some of the latest crewing opportunities from around the country.

Available Crewing Positions:

Papillon, Sydney, NSW
Archambault A40rc, 40foot, CYCA

Papillon races offshore and has competed in the last six Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht races. Papillon will take a break from Hobart this year as they prepare for the PONANT Sydney to Noumea race in June 2018.

Papillon is looking for one more crew to join them for the Your to Noumea Yacht Race. The crewmember must have SSSC and be able to do the delivery as well. Skills needed are mast and trim.
