It is that time of year again – the National Search and Rescue (NATSAR) Council is welcoming nominations for the 2018 Australian Search and Rescue Award.

This prestigious award is in recognition of 'outstanding contribution to search and rescue within the Australian region'. The successful nominee(s) will have made a significant contribution to Australia's Search and Rescue ability or to the saving of a human life. The award is open to any individual, group or organisation and may relate to a particular event or a sustained contribution over a period of time.

We are aiming for another year of strong nominations that represent the full spectrum of activity across the SAR system, both professional and non-professional search and rescue efforts. So please feel free to circulate this email through your respective channels.
