China launches its largest ever superyacht

Pride Mega Yachts launched Illusion Plus on April 11. She is 88.8 m LOA, with a beam of 15.5 m and a draft of 4m, with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and is 3500 tonnes gross.

Twin Rolls Royce engines of 3000hp each give her a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots, and has a 5000nm range. Illusion Plus' 14 guests are accommodated in seven cabins, and 27 crew run the vessel. Interior design was by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and her exterior was designed by Rainsford Saunders Design.

Illusion Plus carries 146000l of water and 261,000l of fuel. Other items are the de rigueur helipad on the foredeck, a tender garage for up to of three tenders, and a spacious superyacht spa with sauna, steam and massage room.
