Farr Yacht Sales is pleased to announce the establishment of Farr Yacht Sales Australasia, headed by Bret Perry and based in Adelaide, Australia.

This location joins other FYS offices in Annapolis, MD. and Cowes, UK to provide an integrated experience for clients around the world. FYS continues its reorganization into a territorial business model and is excited to welcome Bret to the team.

The new division, Farr Yacht Sales Australasia, will serve as an outlet for Farr Yacht Design's new production yachts and for Farr Yacht Sale's brokerage listings. Bret will also be a support conduit for owners of existing Farr-designed yachts.

Bret brings 20 years of diverse international experience in the marine industry. He has been involved in multiple America's Cup and Volvo teams, has spearheaded the development of the successful RG650 mini and K8 sports boats and continues to compete in high level sailing events. Bret brings an exceptional level of relevant racing, boat building, product development, marketing and event experience.

"I'm excited to partner with the team at Farr Yacht Design and Sales, to help develop new products and to work with clients on an individual basis to achieve their goals. I look forward to developing the business throughout the Australasian market in the coming years" said Perry.

Britton Ward, vice president of Farr Yacht Design, said, "We are thrilled to have someone with Bret's experience and enthusiasm helping us to develop the Farr brand in this important market. Bret will be able to provide an experienced, local and personal connection directly to our clients."

The addition of FYS Australasia allows for more product exposure and services than FYS currently offers. Owners and prospective owners of Farr-designed boats can now benefit from a local Farr representative providing a seamless relationship with Farr Yacht Design, one of the largest yacht design offices in the world. Optimization services, boat histories, sailing performance data, construction methods and racing prospects can be made available to assist owners to make informed choices.

Farr Yacht Sales is continuing to develop its territorial business model and anticipates the announcement of further added territories in the near future.
