Summer has officially been over for a while, and with the end of daylight savings time in some States, many twilight series have also drawn to a close.

There are still plenty of sailing opportunities available around the country with weekday afternoon racing, autumn and winter series, and a gauntlet of regattas in the northern regions.

If you're looking to take part in some of the major races and regattas taking place around the country, check out the new Event section in MySail where you can join the crew list or find some crew for your program.

For new and experienced sailors looking to get out on the water, here are just a few of the latest sailing opportunities from around the country.

Available Crewing Positions:

Playstation 4 - Sydney, NSW
Reichel Pugh 42, 42 foot, CYCA

Playstation 4 will be doing the CYCA Winter Series and looking for some experienced crew to join their program.

Playstation 4 mainly races in the harbour, including spinnaker & non-spinnaker twilight racing and weekend series, although they have the odd foray out of the heads (with a preference for turning left)!

Akela - Sydney, NSW
Jutson 40, 39 foot, CYCA

Akela is a classic sports yacht, well known on Sydney harbour.

She is looking for regular or casual crew to join the team for the CYCA Winter Series, sailing Sundays out of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in Rushcutters Bay.

Mid Life Crisis – Port Douglas, QLD
VX One, 5.8 metre, PDYC

VX One 'Mid Life Crisis' is looking for crew to join them at Port Douglas Race Week, May 22 – 26.

Mid Life Crisis is a small sports boat so they're looking for crew who are reasonably fit and agile. Some strength is a bonus and a general understanding of main sail trim and bow would be good.

Campbell, owner of Mid Life Crisis describes Port Douglas Race Week as a great, friendly regatta in the tropics with an old-style vibe.
