An 18ft Skiff Adventure: Queen of the Harbour with Yandoo

Queen of the Harbour © Michael Chittenden

Wow. Sunday's adventure was definitely epic. The "Queen of the Harbour" on the International 18ft Skiff. Yandoo with Woody, Burgers and Cam finishing a close third across the line (28:59)! Just awesome boats, insane rides and brilliantly close racing as you can see in my little clip here!

Congratulations to the "Queen" Issy Quigley? and The Kitchen Maker Skiff Sailing Team? on the win (28:53), and Finport Skiff Racing Team? on a close second (28:55)! Six seconds between the top three, with fourth just a few more back.... in 20+ knots... Yes it was THAT good!

Thanks so much to the Yandoo team for having me, and to especially to Woody, John Winning, for all of his efforts for the sport we all love so much! This event wrapped the 2017/18 season for the Aussie skiffs; hopefully I will be back throughout the next skiff season to bring you more adventures from the Australian 18 Footers?!

Thanks to Michael Chittenden? for the image I used in the video, and the 18 Footers for access to their live feed footage. I also had a GoPro on the bow, and my phone in my hand - because what could have possibly gone wrong ;)

What an amazing week of adventures; from yachts with my best mates or just me on my Laser, to first-time adventures with my god son, ripping on the skiff and then with my Dad today - no wonder I love sailing so much! Bring on next week!
