EVENTS CANCELLED DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER WARNINGS
Exmoor Beastie
We have waited as long as we can but I am sorry to say we have had to pull the plug on the Beastie. The forecast has not relented - currently 20mph onshore, gusting 40mph, temperatures below zero all day, possibility of snow, yellow weather warning...
We know that, whatever the forecast, it is likely to be a bit worse at the club which is on the edge of Exmoor. Launching would be hazardous to say the least and even if a few hardy sailors may have braved it, it would not be the event it should be.
A decision not taken lightly.

Bala Massacre
Unfortunately the Bala Massacre 3 hour pursuit race has had to be cancelled due to some severe weather forecasts. Gust of 38 mph and wind chill of minus 6 degrees makes it unsafe.
The club's Easter Regatta and Vareo Inlands two weeks later are still on, so we do hope to see you then.
