Sprint 15 Association 40th Anniversary Celebrations at the RYA Dinghy Show

by David Groom 28 Feb 2018 14:09 GMT Stand B24, 3-4 March 2018

Anyone attending the Dinghy Show this weekend who does not visit the Sprint 15 Catamaran Association at Stand B24 and talk to the enthusiastic and knowledgable volunteers manning the Stand will be missing a treat.

They will also be missing the chance to enter one of the following two prize draws.

Prospective New Members

  • An exclusive one day catamaran conversion session, courtesy of Windsport International. Get a real hands-on experience of catamaran sailing delivered by a professional "Cat Clinic" coach.

  • Free one year membership of the Sprint 15 Association.
Existing Members
  • Free entry to our 2018 "40th Anniversary" National Championships at Weymouth.

The Sprint 15 is the second largest catamaran class in the UK and by far the largest single handed one. Do not be distracted by the aura of the foiling Nacra 15 come and visit a class with a thriving Class Association, high levels of manufacturer support and additional sponsorship already in place from GJW Insurance and Kevin Kirby Limited.

Come and find out more about a class that offers affordable, regular and well attended racing at local and national level all year round as well as the chance to just potter and cruise either one up or with a friend or friends whenever you want.

All in all a very exciting year is planned with full details available on our very professional regularly updated website (sprint15.com) or our Facebook Page (Sprint 15 Association) on which almost daily posts and comments feature in terms of those events already taking place and those to come. These postings well demonstrate the depth of talent in the fleet, the ability of both sexes to enjoy and compete at the highest levels, the range of interests and ages of those who partake and the plethora of ways these cost effective one design catamarans are used.

So come along to Stand B24 and see what all the fuss is about and what you are missing out on.

A brand spanking new boat will be available for inspection and drooling over and information can be obtained from the stand as to the availability of second hand boats and the best way of sticking a toe in the Sprint 15 Association Waters if you are not lucky enough to win the prize draw.
