34° Primo Cup 2018 Trophée Credit Suisse at Yacht Club de Monaco - Day 1

by Alexander Panzeri 10 Feb 2018 08:59 GMT 8-11 February 2018

After the start of the week with a crazy storm weather (Tuesday), the coast has been kissed by the typical winter, sunny, sweet warm winter. Looks like paradise is ready to rock 'n roll the first race of the year.

Well well... If you have in mind the idea to be romantic today, Monaco was the perfect place to stay with your girlfriend... but if you are a sailor and you want action... maybe you will prefer become romantic and join your girlfriend (or boyfriend).

No race, wind Northerly but not above 3(kts) Temperature around 15(degreesC).

The Team of the YCM, has made all perfect, so we can consider the day 1 as a test for tomorrow, Organisation Ready, Race Committee Ready and Optimistic (they tried to catch all single gust of wind), Press Boats ready, Sailors charged and hot.

Tomorrow, the big dilemma: Trust or not Trust to the meteo forecast? Yes, because yesterday night (Feb 08) was clear for normal breezes, but some, yesterday after the news of the 20:00L, have given an alert of strong wind (30kts) for tomorrow (day 2 Feb 10).

We will see, stay tuned and enjoy last year's slideshow:
