Congratulations to our Magic Marine RS200 National Circuit Winners Maria Stanley and Rob Henderson from Itchenor SC. A record breaking 507 sailors from across the UK took part in the Magic Marine RS200 National Circuit 2017.

Maria Stanley and Rob Henderson sailed a perfect series, counting 1,1,1 from wins at Exe, Itchenor and Rutland to leave them just one point ahead of rivals Matt Mee and Emma Norris from Red Wharf Bay, counting 1,1,2. Placed third were Tom Ballantine and Hannah Peters/Maddy Anderson, with Joe Adams and Emma Lucas in fourth and Jack Holden/Amy Yeoman/Alex Warren in fifth.

Silver fleet winners, placed sixth overall, were Ed Gibbons and Tim Freeman/Liam Gardner from Brightlingsea SC, in the newly established Eastern Region, with Sam Waller and Lewis/Tim Waller from Beaver SC winning the bronze fleet title.

The prize giving was delayed until this weekend's Winter Championships, due to rapidly settling snow at the Inlands. Winners received vouchers from title sponsor Magic Marine, whom the class association would like to thank for the years of support and generosity they have shown the class.

We are confident that with the launch of the RS Reunion Regatta for all sailors who were involved ion RS Sailing the first 10 years, from 1995-2005, a new format for the Youth Championships and the RS Games at WPNSA this year, 2018 will be even bigger and better for the class. The next National Tour event is the multifleet RS Sprints at Rutland SC, with the 5 regional tours all starting soon too.
