East Midlands mini series to be held in February 2018

Two of the top East Midlands Clubs are joining together for a mini series of two weekends racing in February. Time to dust off your craft and join in.

The first two days are at Staunton Harold Sailing Club where the Blaster takes place on 10th and 11th February 2018. Stuanton is just outside Melbourne in Derbyshire not far off the M1. The second event, two weeks later on 24/25th February is at Notts County Sailing Club, 12 miles east of Nottingham the M1 and A1 are not far away.

Briefing will be held on Saturday followed by 5 races on each weekend, depending on conditions of course. There will be a fast & slow handicap start along windsurfing (Raceboard) start at each venue if there are sufficient numbers, the Notices of Race - linked below have more detail.

Entry is free to paid up members of either club, other visitors it is £20 per event or £10 a day. Food is available, both clubs hope to see a good turnout, and some good close racing.

Superb conditions for the event held during the club's Spring Regatta During the May bank holiday weekend, the Graduate sailors gathered at Notts County SC for their 2018 Nationals.
