This event drew just 12 boats. The forecasts of little or no wind earlier in the week probably had something to do with the low turnout. Despite that we enjoyed a reasonable light breeze for most of the day and had a good sail.

In first place were Mark McKeever and Kevin Hopkins from Midland SC, in second place were Peter Jacques and Peter Tate and in third place Ian Willis and Keith Dutton from South Staffs S.C.

GP14 Bell Trophy at Poole
The weather gods appeared keen to show off their powers by treating visitors to everything This event is unique to Poole Yacht Club consisting of two races around the harbour islands on Saturday and a conventional open meeting on the Sunday with four races around the cans. A variety of conditions tested the 45 boat fleet The 2024 GP14 Championship of Ireland concluded on Sunday at Newtownards Sailing Club. 8 races across 3 days and a variety of conditions tested the 45 boat fleet.
