A good season so far at Lyme Regis Sailing Club

At Lyme Regis Sailing Club we have had a good season so far this year with three National Championship winners in the Scorpions, the Fireball French Nationals and now in the K1 class.

We have also had runners-up in the Albacores, 3rd in the Phantoms, 4th in the K1s, 5th in the Fireball Europeans (and top GBR boat), 7th in the Scorpions and 8th in Merlin Rockets.

We also have the first GBR woman in 10 years to complete the gruelling French Solitaire de Figaro series of single-handed races, in Beneteau 10 metre yachts. We think this is a pretty good record for a small provincial club!

Each year we host a high quality major championships - in August 2017 we will be hosting the Fireball European Championships. Our venue is famous for waves yet having sheltered launching inside the historic harbour.
