Day 2 of the Gold Cup was an early start to make the most of the strong northerly Pela wind.

Today's races developed into a battle between the current champion Nick Craig and the Italian champion Mario Rabbo with Nick taking a 3,1 and Mario a 1,2 putting them level on points and setting things up nicely for the final day tomorrow.

European champion Tomai Balazs moved up to 3rd after a good day with Chris Salliis and Beppe Pontremoli rounding out the top 5.

After racing the annual meeting was held and plans made for events in Hungary next May and Italy next Autumn.
