Calling all under 21 year old catamaran sailors or sailors who want to start Cat sailing

The UKCRA Youth Cats are widening the invitation to this year's 10 training session to any under 21 years old cat sailors, no matter what class you sail.

If you sail with an adult then you are still welcome and we will arrange for a boat for you to sail and you can go back and share a few tips with your adult. This invitation is also open to sailors who want to try cat sailing and meet sailors who already are involved.

The main classes are the Spitfire, Nacra 15 and Nacra 17, but you can bring whatever boat you sail.

We will have some of the best Cat coaches in the country and support from the RYA at 5 of the sessions.

Training is planned for Brightlingsea SC, Grafham, Weymouth, Datchet and HISC.

The Dates are:

  • 24-25 September 2016 - Brightlingsea (pre Reg fest)
  • 15-16 October 2016 - Grafham Water
  • 24 October 2016 - Possible extended camp over Half Term?
  • 12-13 November 2016 - Weymouth
  • 3-4 December 2016 - Weymouth
  • 21-22 January 2017 - Datchet
