The first decision this morning was what to offer the Solo racers considering the weather forecast. With the forecast of the wind dying our PRO Henry Wright said 3 raced back to back hoping we could get three races in. A good call Henry.

32 Solos contested the difficult conditions, wind up/ down and big shifts. As usual the cream came to the top; Steve Denison winning with a 2/1, Ian Hopwood second with a 1/3. In the very difficult conditions positions changed and lots of hard luck stories.

A special well done to Carsington member Alistair Raynard 5037 finishing 5th overall. There were prizes for 1st Lady helm, 1st Septimus, 1st GM, 1st Vet.

A big thank you to all the visitors making a great day of it.

Special thanks to our Commodore Steve Blake presenting the prizes and daughter Rosie taking the pictures.

Not forgetting all the race team, thank you.

A great day was had by all.
