49er sailors are gearing up for an Olympic year; and for the first time so are the ladies in their 49er FXs. We are very fortunate to have skiff legend, 29er and 49er designer Julian Bethwaite on our stand for the weekend – come along with your questions! The men are looking forward to a new spinnaker design which will be introduced after the Olympics – perhaps this will allow them to keep up with the ladies on a windy day!

Also Dylan Fletcher and Alain Sign, bronze medallists at the recent 49er World Championships in Florida, will be on the stand at 11.30 am on both days. So not only will you be able to view the 49er in all its glory, you'll be pick up the latest techniques for your Olympic campaign.

As CST Composites distributor for Europe we have a second guest from Australia on our stand – Clynton Lehman – the man to speak to with any spar enquiries.

We're proud to be the only registered Optimist builder in the UK and will have 3 new boats on display. The Ovington Optimist is now picking up pace both in the UK and around Europe with boats heading overseas weekly.

In the last year we've put a lot of work into developing the Ovington Solo since displaying the previous Boon model in 2015 and we're happy with the results. Improvements have been made to the aesthetics, rigidity and symmetry of the boat. We offer Solos at varying stages from bare hull to fully fitted, registered and measured boats ready to race.

The VX One fleet is growing in the UK and Europe with boats now in Austria, Denmark, France and Germany with the first European event as part of the GPEN regatta in Brest France, 5-8 May.

The Musto Skiff class continue to surpass 100 boats at the EuroCup series, and are heading to the popular venue of Carnac for the 2016 World Championships. The class are set to pass 500 boats built very shortly with boats raced in over 20 countries around the World.
