Paul Bastard announced as official Tornado Class Race Officer

After an excellent World Championship in Carnac, France at the hands of Mr. Paul Bastard (France), the International Tornado Class Association is more than happy to announce him as the official Tornado Class Race Officer.

Paul Bastard has been an international judge and race officer of World Sailing since 1987 and technical representative in the 2000 Sidney and 2004 Athens, Olympic games. Sailors and collaborators praised his work as an excellent competition manager and sporting event organizer. From now on he will be the key person in conducting high quality Tornado Championships on and off the water.

"Today is a big day, we have been able to bind one of the highest qualified Technical Delegates and International Race officers to our class. We will profit from Paul's experience, future Tornado championships will be exceptional." said Jürgen Jentsch, President of International Tornado Class Association looking forward to the next 2016 World Sailing Tornado World and Global Mixed Youth Championships in Lindau, Lake of Constanz, Germany from the 10th to 17th of June.
