Today Captain Jack Sparrow swung into the Southampton Boat Show to delight visitors in preparation for International Talk like a Pirate Day, on Saturday 19 September.
When he arrived this morning, the old sea dog headed straight for the tall ship, the Earl of Pembroke, bearing a remarkable resemblance to his on screen pirate ship, the Black Pearl. Before setting sail for the seven seas, the swash buckling hero entertained visitors by leading a chorus of 'It's a Pirates Life for me' and took the helm to teach youngsters how to "arrr" like a true pirate.
In addition to the Earl of Pembroke, visitors can climb aboard multi-million pound luxury motor yachts, take to the water with the Show's Get Afloat and Try-a-Boat experiences and speed across the Solent on a Suzuki RIB.
The Southampton Boat Show is on until Sunday 20 September, with tickets to the Show priced from £15 and available to purchase from www.southamptonboatshow.com.
