Three races were held on Saturday, all sailing the same circular course - buoys 0 (start line), 9, A, B, back through the start line - all to port. The wind was a nominal southwesterly, though on the water it was very shifty and disappeared every now and again from 0 to 9.

Races 4 to 6 were held on Sunday.

Races 4 and 5 used a figure of 8 course, buoys 0p (start line), 9p, 4p, 1s, Bs, back through the start line. The wind was more of a steady south-easterly and strong enough for some exhilarating sailing. In race 4 some sailors nearly missed buoy 9 on lap two, a call from Stewart Warden brought their attention to this and they turned back to make the mark. These first two races were supposed to be back-to-back, but most boats landed after the first race to empty out rather a lot of water. A few Tinkers had managed to get up on the plane - any Tinker sailor will tell you how infrequently this occurs, and some cheshire cat grins were noticed.

The last race on Sunday was a circular course - buoys 0 (start line), 9, 4, B, 1, back through the start line - all buoys to port. The wind had dropped since the first two races - shame!

Malcolm Ellwood and Alistair Parker shared first place on points. Overall first place was decided by taking into account individual race placings, and Alistair was awarded the trophy.
